JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka.The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full cycle recruitment for all roles at the resort. The successful candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills and have a passion for talent marketing/recruitment and managing positive employee and community relationships. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources this position is responsible for attracting, hiring and retaining the best candidates, while growing a strong talent pipeline. This position is accountable for recruiting hourly, casual and full-time employees in all roles inherent to hospitality. The successful candidate will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis in proactively identifying future hiring needs. The Talent Acquisition Specialist should also be able to identify candidates using various recruitment sources, such as social media, community relations, employee referrals, etc.Key Accountabilities Include:Create a recruitment plan to support all staffing needs for the resort (including immigration strategies)Be the point of contact for recruitment vendors, external agencies, employment services, local colleges and universitiesWork with all department leaders to understand current and future departmental staffing requirements and provide reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basisComplete and post job descriptions, track candidate applications and maintain recruitment databases (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.)Coordinate interview processResponsible for offering candidates, completing offer letters and sending new hire documentsOrganize recruitment eventsLiaise and coordinate with universities and colleges to promote employment opportunitiesUse social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidatesFollow industry trends and research new recruitment initiativesWelcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact and a friendly verbal greeting using the guests names when possibleCompliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety programAdhere to all environmental policies and programs as requiredRequirementsMinimum 1 years recruitment is an assetValid driver's license and dependable vehicle.
