What you can expect in a Controls/Automation Technician role at 2CM Innovative:The commission, set up, install, and program PLCs and HMIs in accordance with the customer requirements. Test and verify the quality of installations. Provide training to clients.Understanding of electrical schematic diagrams, blueprints, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.Assist with PLC/HMI/Drives programming.Modify robot, PLC programs, and machine screen interfaces.Responsible for the integration of Allen Bradley/Siemens/Omron, PLCs, and HMIs.Ability to create and modify electrical drawings (AutoCAD), Process & Instrumentation.Service, maintain, repair, install, and test equipment in accordance with current machine specifications.Preventive and Corrective maintenance of automation equipment (i.e. machine robotics, assembly equipment, End-of-Arm Tooling, packaging and conveying equipment, vision inspection systems). Successful completion of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology(23-year Robotics and Automation Program).~3+ years of experience as a Controls Technician ideally in a production-orientated environment.~ Strong knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens).~ 00 per hourWith a clear strategy and focus on quality and customer satisfaction, 2CM has been able to provide various options for consumers in automation, mechanical design, assembly, and machine builds.
