The JDMI is committed to ongoing education and quality assurance initiatives and is fully affiliated with the University of Toronto and the Michener Institute of Education.As a valued member of TeamJDMI, you will have the opportunity to be trained in Level three CT at multiple UHN sites.DutiesPerforms Computed Tomography (CT) procedures, some General Radiography (when needed), and digital quality assuranceCommunicates with team members and management personnelParticipates in professional development, teaching and educational activities, and mentoringQualificationsRegistration with the CMRITOPrevious general imaging experience coupled with recent experience (within the last 5 years) in computed tomographyOne (1) year recent experience in related area of responsibilityCompletion of a BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certificationAbility to demonstrate sensitivity towards patients in a challenging situationDemonstrated strong technical skills and image qualityKnowledge of basic anatomy and pathologyEffective time management skills, ability to organize work, and set prioritiesAbility to work accurately under stressful conditionsAbility to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multi-task and work effectively in a supportive team environmentExcellent problem-solving and recognition skillsCommitment to continuing educationExcellent teaching skillsDemonstrated good work performance and attendance historyStrong written and verbal communication skillsPrevious Level 3 CT experience or willing to be trained up to a Level 3 CT, preferredMembership with the CAMRT, preferredCompletion of certified injection course, preferredCompletion or currently enrolled in the CTIC offered by the CAMRT, preferredAdditional InformationIn addition to working alongside some of the most talented and inspiring healthcare professionals in the world, UHN offers a wide range of benefits, programs and perks.
