Job Description

The Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Department of Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) seek a microvascular reconstructive Surgeon to join their team. Collective responsibilities include clinical care of inpatients and outpatients as well as education of undergraduate and postgraduate trainees. The successful candidate will have appointments in both Saskatchewan Health Authority and the University of Saskatchewan, where teaching of surgical residents and medical students is integral. Participation in the acute care general surgery roster including call is required.The candidate will have demonstrated expertise in microvascular reconstruction of head and neck defects. Additional expertise in head and neck surgical oncology would be considered superior. The candidate will have an active interest in research, demonstrated by the completion of a post-graduate degree and interest in further developing the research activities of the division and the department.
