This is a critical role that combines excellence in clinical teaching for students while delivering high quality patient care.Fostering an effective learning environment and upholding all professional and provincial standards of client foot careEvaluating student progress and achievement, while providing student feedback and remedial assistanceLiaising with other faculty and staff at the Michener InstituteMajor Elements of the Position:Providing quality podiatric assessment, treatment, and care to individuals referred or self-referred to the clinical siteFacilitating a positive learning environment for both clients and students at the clinicProviding feedback on student progress and achievement, along with student advisement and remedial assistanceQualifications:Current registration in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario requiredDegree and/or Masters level education preferredExperience working/teaching in the field within the last 12 months preferredCertification by, and membership in OSC and CFPM preferredCurrent CPR and basic first aid certificationCurrent Vulnerability Sector CheckAll immunizations current and up to dateStrong organizational and leadership skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamQualified applicants are invited to submit a detailed resume and cover letter.For further information on The Michener Institute, please visit our website at Michener Institute is publicly funded by the Ministry of Health and is a respectful, caring, and inclusive workplace.
