Babcock is committed to being a good neighbour, ensuring that we are positively contributing to societys progress and building meaningful and mutually beneficial relations with Indigenous peoples, businesses, and communities.We encourage you to explore our Babcock Canada website to learn more about us at .In this role, you will:Support the Director Corporate Support by leading the security operation of the organization in both French and EnglishProvide assurance of security performance and Information Assurance (IA) to Senor Management at Babcock CanadaCapture and interpret external requirements to ensure consistency across Babcock CanadaSupport external audits and internal assessmentsDefine internal and local assurance requirementsSupport local audits and conduct inspectionsReport on Assurance activities across CanadaProduce and review Babcock Canadas Security and IA polices and processes ensuring alignment not only with the Industrial Security Program but with Babcock Groups policies and processesProvide internal security consultancy advice to Babcock CanadaLiaise with internal security stakeholders where applicableFacilitate security communications, supporting both Babcock Canada and Babcock group Security and IA communications adapting as requiredDesign and deliver security training as appropriateAssist the business in maintaining testing and improving Business Continuity PlansEnsure Security and IA requirements and risks of current and new business are identified and proactively managed.Ensure the continued safety and resilience of Babcock Canadas sites, staff and systems against security threatsInvestigate and engage in security investigations and sweeps including the reporting of breaches and incidents in a timely mannerProvide support to the Information Asset Owners with their departmental activities and ensure positive record of access by users (i.e., joiners, movers, leavers)Complete outbound visit clearance requests for the industrial security programOversee completion of CGP exemptions for visitors and temporary workersOversee security assessments for new hires commencing employment and advise the business of the resultsEnsure positive maintenance of facility keys for critical information assets, office doors, secure rooms, and security locking containers.Enter, modify and delete alarm user codes into the facility alarm system for facility staffProgram access cards into various areas of the buildings for facility staffLead the development of security policies, procedures or security management plansAssess security threats and risks as appropriateOther duties as assignedThe ideal candidate brings:You hold a Diploma in Security Management from an accredited post - secondary institution as an asset .You have a minimum of 5 years of experience working within the Industrial Security Program and the Controlled Goods Program.You have a minimum of 5 years of experience working within a Corporate Security Program.French/English bilingualism required.You have working knowledge of Physical Security systems (Card access, CCTV, & alarm systems).You have intermediate experience writing security a nd/or emergency incident reports.You may hold some Project Management experience and/or qualifications.You have working knowledge of establishing or maintaining business continuity programs , principles for information & cyber security as an asset.You have basic knowledge of emergency management, conducting security related investigations, conducting business continuity program exercises.You are eligible for a Canadian NATO Secret Security Clearance, ITAR, and Controlled Goods .Babcock Canada supports the safety and wellbeing of our employees through the following programs:Contributions towards an employees physical and mental healthWellness daysSupportive work life balance: flexible work schedule and competitive annual vacation time offComprehensive health and dental benefitsPregnancy and Parental Leave top-up availableEmployer matching of employee retirement contributionEmployee recognition and bonus programsSupport of professional development and reimbursement of membership duesRelocation assistance for individuals and familiesBabcock is committed to promoting a workforce without boundaries.
