At Next Supply we believe its not just what we do, but how we do it that makes a great place to work.Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Assist the supervisor with leading a team of Warehouse Associates, providing guidance, training and performance feedback; Promote company policies and procedures, and model company valuesOperations Coordination: Allocate warehouse activities (e.g. receiving, picking, replenishment, loading, inventory control etc.); coordinate labour requests for other departments as required; effectively prepare for shift, and hand off duties to the next shift, ensuring the next shift set up for successCommunication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the warehouse team, management and other departments to ensure smooth operationsWarehouse Maintenance: Maintain and ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following and promoting company policies and safety procedures and ensuring and a clean as you go mentalityAssume Associate Role: Provide support to the warehouse team by assuming duties of warehouse associates as required to meet productivity targets and maintain team moraleOther Duties as Assigned: As a member of the team, there may be other tasks assigned that arent listed aboveRecommended QualificationsKnowledge/Skill/Ability Requirements:Leadership skills and the ability to work well in a team environment, and model the character qualities listed aboveExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesStrong problem-solving skillsStrong English verbal communication skillsBasic math functionsGood English reading and writing skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to operate warehouse equipment (reach truck, forklift etc) safely and efficientlyAbility to use computer software programs such as WMS system, Microsoft products etc.Experience & EducationPrevious warehouse and leadership experienceHigh School or equivalentMHE Certification required or the ability to obtain within three months of employment.
