We are seeking a take-charge leader with proven manufacturing operations experience to work onsite as a Director of Manufacturing at our Watertown, WI location.ABOUT YOU* Ambassador for safety, quality, the employee, and the customer* Self-starter with passion for the job, and demonstrate a high degree of creativity and innovation* Humble leader focused on 'finding right' rather than 'being right'* Able to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of employees, management, vendors, and customers* Able to demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, communication, and planning skills, and the ability to effectively supervise and / or influence others as needed* Ability to make timely decisions based on the data availableWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING* Support the development and implementation of standardized EHS programs and processes to drive a safety-first culture* Support the development and implementation of standardized Food Safety and Quality programs and processes.* Foster and support the Wis-Pak Mission, Culture and Values* Track overall performance for each of the manufacturing facilities and deliver remedy plans as required* Standardize activities across the manufacturing network to reduce variation in supply levels to the customers* Drive automation and improvement initiates to reduce and optimize conversion costs without detriment to safety, quality, or service level* Facilitate and promote the use of automated data capture to drive quick data driven decisions* Cascade learning across the manufacturing network* Sponsor and lead key projects through the OBEYA and HOSHIN processes* Collaboratively develop performance goals and objectives for Facility Managers* Develop longer term plans (2-5 years) for future packages and production capacity to support the trends of the business as they change* Collaborate with Human Resources in the areas of talent, performance management and succession planning* Support excellent communication between the facilities, functional directors and the central departments to solve problems and ensure smooth operations* Provide input into the development of the annual capital plan and long-range capital plan* Support Facility Managers to develop an annual plant operating budget* Provide routine performance reports and action plans for monthly OBEYA and BOD meetingsWHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE* Minimum of 8 years plant management experience* Minimum of 3 years multi-site experience* Experience in a high pace manufacturing environment* A Bachelor of Business/Engineering degree or similar* Ability to travel to multiple sites in central USAWHAT WE OFFER* Competitive salary and bonus potential* Comprehensive health benefits* Generous PTO and paid holidays* 401(k) with company match* Profit-sharing plan* A people-centric, collaborative, and performance-focused work cultureIf you're ready to step into a Director level role and make a difference, we want to hear from you!
