Ensure delivery of proper training and supervision to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni food and beverage standards and company policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesMaintain food & beverage standards and consistent guest experience in keeping with Omnis standards and guidelinesComplete all required reports and billings pertaining to eventsMotivate and develop associates with emphasis on continuously striving for excellence in serviceClose coordination and communication with other departmentsInspect all banquet floors regularly to ensure that they are maintained to the hotel standardsActively engaged with our guests and all hotel associatesAssist Banquet Manager with team meetings, training, scheduling, and payrollEncourage associates to create unique, personalized memorable experiences at every opportunitySupport Outlets, as needed, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation within food & beverage across the hotelOther duties as assigned by the Banquet ManagerQualificationsBachelors degree or College diploma in Hotel Management preferredMinimum 1 year experience in executing banquet and catering events such as receptions, weddings, galas, and conferencesMinimum 1 year supervising within a union environmentProficient with forecasting, cost controls and schedulingDemonstrated leadership skills including employee growth and development, interdepartmental teamwork and exceptional customer serviceProven ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and work well in a fast-paced environmentSound ability to problem solve, make decisions and utilize good judgmentProficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
