You will also help provide strategic recommendations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and drive growth, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor solutions, ensuring long-term success and sustainability.Team DescriptionThe Business Management (BM) team within the Total Fund Management department supports the department on key operational focuses including talent and culture, business & financial planning, governance, compliance, and project management. BM acts in support of the departments focus of managing total fund activities across all investment horizons where we have a dynamic and direct impact on the Funds overall performance.Accountabilities:Effectively collaborate on key initiatives and connect with business management peers across the Fund to share and understand best practices.Provide timely, accurate and relevant information/analysis that facilitates better decision making and brings value-added insight to data received.Conduct comprehensive analyses of organizational processes, systems, and financial data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.Drive effective cross-departmental knowledge sharing through authorship and execution of regular newsletters, information hubs, SharePoint document repositories, and event planning.Help coordinate requirements gathering and provide testing support for new departmental systems and tools.Support broad suite of departmental compliance activities, facilitating effective communication, tracking, and execution against rules & regulations.Provide analytical and coordination support for financial analysis and investment performance reporting activities.Assist with operational duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:University degree or College diploma3+ years of relevant experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships effectively with people at all levels.Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); programming skills (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel VBA) are assets.Ability to effectively manage timelines on multiple initiatives, keeping managers and colleagues informed of progress and seeking assistance as needed.Experience tackling problems with elements of ambiguity, knowing when to work independently and when to seek guidance.Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to changing priorities and challenges.Developing analytical and problem-solving skills with critical and creative thinking abilities.At CPP Investments, we are committed to diversity and equitable access to employment opportunities based on ability.We thank all applicants for their interest but will only contact candidates selected for further consideration.Our Commitment to Inclusion and Diversity:We are dedicated to building a diverse workforce and fostering an inclusive, accessible environment.
