The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning and delivering projects with major transportation clients such as Metrolinx, Translink, York Region, NYCDOT, MTA, SFMTA, MBTA, and various Departments of Transportation, with potential for regional expansion.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and strengthen relationships with major transit and city clients (e.g., NYCDOT, MTA, Metrolinx, SFMTA, MBTA).Bid for and secure Bus Rapid Transit projects as a prime contractor, subcontractor, or part of a design-build team.Lead projects as a project manager or director.Drive technical excellence, creativity, and innovation within Arups transit offerings.Mentor and support Transportation and Urban Planning teams with technical advice.Maintain excellent relationships with consultants, regulators, and stakeholders.Negotiate effectively and manage contentious project impacts.Promote sustainability and climate objectives within Arups initiatives.Minimum QualificationsBachelors degree in engineering, planning, or related field.20+ years of relevant experience.Professional Engineering License (P.Eng) or Professional Transportation Planner (ITE-Affiliated).Experience managing major public transit projects.Proven ability to build client relationships and win BRT projects.Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams.Applicants must apply via the job portal.
