One of our clients, a major oil and gas company, has tasked us with finding a Plant Operator to join their team in Simonette, AB on a 12-month contract with a high possibility of transitioning to a permanent position. This role offers a 14-14 rotation (days and nights) with camp accommodations provided . Operate and monitor gas processing equipment, including sour gas facilities, amine units, and sweetening systems , ensuring safe and efficient production. Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of plant equipment to minimize downtime. Perform H2S monitoring and mitigation in compliance with safety regulations. Complete accurate logs, reports, and documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards. Adhere to all safety, environmental, and operational policies , including PPE and emergency response protocols. Strong understanding of gas plant operations, instrumentation, and control systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote, fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a 14-14 rotational shift (days/nights) is an asset. 14-14 rotation (12-hour shifts, alternating days and nights). ~ Camp accommodations provided with meals and amenities. ~ Opportunity for permanent placement based on performance and business needs.
