Versance.ai is hiring a VP of Revenue to take immediate ownership of our go-to-market execution. This is a hands-on sales leadership role for a high-performing operator who can drive revenue from day oneclosing deals, deploying clients, and working directly with the CEO and our business development team to accelerate growth.The ideal candidate brings deep experience selling into public companies and understands the investor relations, compliance, and communication pressures they face. You know how to build trust with lean executive teams who value responsiveness, clarity, and speed.Over time, this role evolves into a strategic leadership positionbuilding sales structure, developing the team, and leading Versance.ai into its next growth phase.This role includes a significant revenue share component, meaningful equity, and a clear path to promotion to Chief Revenue Officer. We just deployed our first live clients, have partnership opportunities being presented to us, and have a growing pipeline of issuers ready to deploy.What Youll DoImmediate ExecutionOwn the full sales cyclefrom lead engagement through close and onboardingWork directly with the CEO and business development staff to drive deploymentsLead demos, pricing discussions, and final negotiationsRemove friction from the sales and onboarding process to accelerate go-live timelinesForecast accurately and report regularly on deal status and revenue pacingStrategic Enablement (after 90 days)Build and implement sales playbooks, conversion benchmarks, and scalable processesEvaluate current GTM performance and identify where to optimize or expandBegin developing the next layer of GTM structureinternal hires, contractors, or channel partnersHelp prepare the organization for a full-scale CRO function as revenue growsWho You AreYouve sold into public companiesespecially small and micro-cap issuersand understand how to build credibility with executives who juggle lean resources, strict disclosure obligations, and high investor expectations.Youve worked with C-level leaders (CEO, CFO, IR) and sold software or services in high-trust, compliance-sensitive markets.
