For more information about our company, visit For over forty years, we have made engineering and technology a hallmark of our product offering. We develop and manufacture a complex array of products in two broad groups: electronics and electro-mechanical. Electronics products include network switches, gateways, signal processors and power electronic devices controlled by a suite of networked software and interactive touch screens. This suite of products is developed and manufactured entirely on-premises, from bare metal firmware down to component assembly on our new SMD assembly line. The electro-mechanical side of our product range is equally local. Devices such as loudspeakers, waveguides and enclosures are fully simulated in multi-physics FEA/BEM as well as magnetic and CFD analysis. In our vertically integrated manufacturing environment, youll find a wide variety of cutting-edge technologies, including laser machining, CNC machining, and 5-Axis mold making for composite materials. With an established team of engineers encompassing such diverse areas of expertise as Mechanical, Acoustical, Software / Firmware and Electronics, the Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for guiding projects through the conceptual phase to production. With a focus on administration, budgeting, timelines, DFA and business management, the successful candidate understands the concepts and constraints associated with Engineering, but is able to focus on the needs of the business. Ensuring that projects are properly specified, carried out according to the plan and within the original scope are of chief importance. How You''ll Have Impact Advance the highest caliber engineering teams. Coordinate our Product Roadmap with the product team. Facilitate the full product development cycle from concept to launch. Utilize a Stage Gate product development strategy. Encourage a cross-functional mindset between disciplines. Incorporate product planning through ERP. Establish a set of attitudes, including personal growth and quality. Foster an ethos of continuous improvement in process, product and production. Implement & control development and operational budgets. Drive Design for Manufacturability. Entrench the mentality of intellectual property development. Skills and Qualifications A Bachelors in Engineering or related degree. 5+ years managing and leading teams. 10+ years of related work experience. Exposure to product development for discrete manufacturing. Research tax credits (SR&ED) and subsidies (IRAP). Cost analysis. Excellent leadership, communication and team building skills.
