Celebrating nearly 75 years in business, EAP also operates a commercial printing business and a distribution company, continuing to grow and serve its communities. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Staff Reporter at Andr Paquette Publishing Company Inc. We are looking for a full-time reporter for our Vision newspaper, which covers Clarence-Rockland. The Staff Reporter will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as reporting on local news and events, writing articles, conducting interviews, and keeping our website updated. Additionally, the Staff Reporter will maintain communication with the editorial team and contribute to the overall news strategy of the publication. Qualifications Our publication serves both French and English speaking residents. Bilingualism is an asset Reporting and News Writing skills Strong Communication and Writing abilities Experience in Multimedia content creation Excellent interpersonal skills for conducting interviews and engaging with the community Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field Familiarity with the local community is a plus
