Vocational Rehabilitation SpecialistLocation: Hybrid/Remote: Client required to our Kamloops Lifemark ClinicStatus: Full TimeLifemark Health Group is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team on a Full-Time basis. The Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist will work in collaboration with the referral source to provide job search support services to WorkSafe BC clients. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients through assisting individuals who may have been injured on the job in developing employment plans. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to conduct job search training and provide job search counselling for our clients who are seeking to re-enter the workforce.Responsibilities include:Reviewing vocational profiles regarding employment history, education and experienceAssessing transferable skills and employment barriersMay also be responsible for: Facilitating job search workshopsCompleting resumes and cover lettersConducting labor market researchIdentify suitable job options and return to work plansMarketing clients to prospective employersProviding job placement support, career and employment counsellingWillingness to take on other roles as needed, support team membersMaintain the confidentiality of sensitive client and organizational informationCollaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and responsibilitiesPrepare clear, concise, and accurate reportsProvide exceptional customer service to clients Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and responsibilities. QualificationsUniversity degree preferred (psychology, education, kinesiology, health sciences, rehabilitation etc.)Minimum 2 years experience within the provision of vocational rehabilitation (employment planning/career counselling and/or job search skills/job placement))CVRP or other related professional designation and/or eligibility to obtain designation would be an asset.Candidates should have a strong understanding of the local labour marketWillingness to travel to Lifemark clinic as clients require If this is a good match for you, apply today!
