We leverage granular data to deliver unprecedented insight into opportunities, and our specialty portfolio is fully diversified with very low catastrophe, aggregation or systemic risk.Job Overview:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reinsurance Finance Operations Specialist to join our dynamic reinsurance team. In this role, you will manage and support the day-to-day operations of our controls, audit and SII reporting, ensuring accurate reporting, and effective coordination between internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:SOX Level ControlsBuild and maintain Reinsurance SOX controlsPerform control testing and analysisAudit point of contactWork with the internal audit team for all documents they needWork with external auditors and collect needed documents from the teamMaintain Reinsurance documentationContinuously update and create Reinsurance policy documentsCreate all needed flow charts and diagramsSolvency II reportingSupport financial reporting including quarterly and annual statutory statements,Complete all the S30 formsProcess improvementActively contribute to strategic initiatives such as financial system implementations and executing on our target operating modelCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and enhance the overall operational performance of the reinsurance function.Perform a variety of analysis to support a growing businessStakeholder CoordinationAct as a liaison between various departmentsProvide expertise to internal teams on controls and SIIQualifications:Experienced finance professional with depth of knowledge in both US GAAP, insurance experience and US Statutory Accounting Principles, preferredDegree in Accounting or FinanceCertified Public Accountant, preferredExperience working in a Finance function within a Global Insurance Company or Insurance Agency, preferredImplementation of Financial controls and testingPrior SII Reporting for ReinsuranceHighly motivated and takes pride in their work and has a conscientious and diligent work ethicCompetent with Microsoft software packages (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)Approachable and works well both in a team and individuallyWork-life balance: We believe that taking time to rest and recharge makes us all better.
