Learn more at: telusinternational.com.Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance, Revenue Operations to lead a critical function within our Finance team. This role is pivotal in connecting our Sales, Operations and Regional Finance departments to drive tighter interlock and deliver better outcomes across the Revenue cycle from Order through Cash, specifically tailored to our services-driven business model.The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in finance and accounting, coupled with significant expertise in Revenue Operations within environments dealing with time & material billing models, project-based work, subscription services, or other complex service revenue streams. You will be responsible for refining processes, implementing system improvements, driving cross functional interlock, supporting revenue recognition, and most importantly delivering key financial insights and forward looking information of our revenue performance.Key Responsibilities:Cross-Functional Leadership: Build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with Sales, Operations, HR, Legal and other Finance team members to ensure alignment and improved execution across the revenue operations/lifecycle.Financial Reporting & Analysis: Develop, monitor, and report on key revenue operations performance indicators (KPIs) such as total revenues, revenue from new customers, existing customers, bookings/backlog, churn, book to bill ratios, revenue growth rates and DSO. Translate data into actionable insights for senior leadership.Forecasting & Planning: Provide critical input into the companys revenue forecasting, monthly outlook, annual budgeting, and strategic planning processes based on pipeline analysis, historical trends, by service line by region by customer. Order-to-Cash / Bid Governance Process: Oversee, manage, and continuously improve the end-to-end OTC cycle, including financial aspects of deal structuring, book to bill reviews, revenue recognition, and collections.Contract Review & Deal Support: Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Legal on contract negotiations, focusing on Margins, Risk mitigations, protections and service solutions to ensure financial viability and compliance with revenue recognition policies.Sales Incentives: Partner with HR, Sales and Finance on design of commissions programs to drive behaviours and outcomes that maximize in year revenue generation while adhering to margin/profit objectives by service line, region, customer. Process & Systems Enhancement: Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency gains and automation within the revenue cycle. Lead initiatives to improve processes and leverage technology, including CRM, ERP, and potentially dedicated billing systems Team Management & Mentorship: Lead and develop the [Specify team size/structure, e.g., Billing and Revenue Operations team], fostering a high-performance culture focused on accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional accounting designation (CPA1 - Canada) strongly preferred.Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with 3-4 years in a role directly managing Revenue Operations Direct experience working within a Services-based organization Proven track record of successfully optimizing processes and implementing system improvements within the revenue cycle.Proficiency with ERP systems [e.g., Workday, SAP, Netsuite] and CRM platforms [e.g., Salesforce].Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.Superior communication, collaboration, and influencing skills. Vous serez responsable de loptimisation des processus, de la mise en uvre damliorations systmes, de la coordination interfonctionnelle, du soutien la reconnaissance des revenus, et, surtout, de fournir des informations financires cls et des prvisions sur la performance des revenus.Responsabilits principales :Leadership interfonctionnel : Dvelopper des partenariats solides avec les quipes Ventes, Oprations, RH, Juridique et Finance pour garantir une meilleure excution et une cohrence dans la gestion du cycle de revenus.Reporting et analyse financire : Suivre et analyser les indicateurs cls de performance lis aux revenus (revenus totaux, nouveaux clients, clients existants, commandes/arrirs, taux de dsabonnement, ratio commandes/facturation, croissance des revenus, DSO) et fournir des recommandations exploitables la direction.Prvisions et planification : Contribuer llaboration des prvisions de revenus, des perspectives mensuelles, du budget annuel et des plans stratgiques sur la base de lanalyse du pipeline, des tendances historiques, par ligne de service, par rgion et par client.Cycle commande--encaissement / gouvernance des offres : Superviser, grer et amliorer continuellement le cycle OTC, y compris les aspects financiers de la structuration des offres, les revues commandes/facturation, la reconnaissance des revenus et les recouvrements.Revue des contrats et accompagnement des offres : Collaborer avec les Ventes, les Oprations et le Juridique sur les ngociations contractuelles, en mettant laccent sur les marges, la gestion des risques, les protections et les solutions de services, afin dassurer la viabilit financire et la conformit avec les normes de reconnaissance des revenus.Incentives commerciaux : Travailler avec les RH, les Ventes et les Finances sur la conception de programmes de commissions visant maximiser les revenus annuels tout en respectant les objectifs de marge par ligne de service, rgion et client.Amlioration des processus et systmes : Identifier de manire proactive les opportunits defficacit et dautomatisation dans le cycle de revenus.
