This includes evaluating and supporting the development of new technology, methodologies, and related business processes for the purposes of enhancing reliability, durability and flexibility of the grid in order to maximize the return on investment of distribution assets. This role will need to leverage key relationships within the Chief Information Technology and the Chief Electricity Distribution divisions to successfully execute a variety of projects. This role will support grid technology section functions including project management, planning, and budgeting inputs.This role assists in the development of advanced utility applications and supporting infrastructure used to control, monitor and analyze the distribution grid. There is significant emphasis on understanding the day-to-day operation of distribution grids and the role new technology plays. There is significant input into the strategic direction of smart grid technology deployment and the future needs of our Companys customers.
