POSITION: Used Equipment Sales ManagerSTATUS: Full-timeREPORTS TO: Senior Director, Fleet PlanningCLIENT BASE: Wholesale buyers, exporters, dealerships, brokers, auction housesSCOPE: Drive used equipment sales through the wholesale channel, optimize pricing and volume for asset disposal across multiple channels including retail, wholesale, and auctionGEOGRAPHY: Primary: Edmonton & Calgary (Urban market focus)Secondary: Canada-wide & U.S. exposure, with potential for overseas salesTRAVEL: Moderate; required across Alberta and potentially cross-border for client and equipment site visitsREMUNERATION: Base + Commission OTE: $140,000 $200,000+ (based on experience and performance)COMPANY:A North American leader in equipment rentals recognized for innovation, customer service, and market leadership in industrial and construction sectors. Strong Canadian presence and committed to compliance, safety, and sustainability.ROLE SPECIFICS:Responsible for maximizing sales proceeds and volume of used equipment soldBuild, manage, and grow a diverse book of business with brokers, dealers, and exportersEvaluate market timing and pricing strategy based on equipment type and conditionWork collaboratively with branch managers, fleet, and operations across CanadaHandle negotiation, logistics, and execution of salesConduct market evaluations and optimize geographic sales channelsManage hundreds of units monthly: excavators, telehandlers, booms, forklifts, compressors, generators, and moreREQUIREMENTS:Proven experience in used equipment sales: wholesale, retail, auctionStrong industry network in dealerships, OEMs, exporters, and auction companiesAbility to evaluate equipment condition and pricing strategySkilled negotiator with high EQ and conflict resolution abilityStrong Excel and CRM proficiencyAbility to sell persuasively and manage complex dealsBachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experienceValid drivers license and clean record
