The role will be supported by a Sales Development Analyst who will assist and support in administrative duties and customer care.Scope: The CDM is responsible for promoting Company products as a professional sales representative to all assigned existing and prospective accounts. The individual will develop and maintain productive working relationships with customers that allow sales and marketing goals to be achieved. The individual will conduct in-person sales calls to seek the placement of products in high volume and profitable areas. Ensure that customers are thrilled with products and services. Make recommendations to management regarding business development, pricing, and sales projections. This role requires travel throughout the Quebec Territory and to Caldic offices as required.Assume responsibility for the effective performance of Sales and Marketing functions.Service Customers through in-person and virtual calls in accordance with set KPIs in order to drive growth within assigned TerritoryDevelop a strategy and Sales approach to align Caldic capabilities with Customers within the IndustryBe responsible for setting and executing stretch budget targets that are aligned with the Organization's objectivesProspect for new accounts and seek opportunities to increase existing businessPrioritize product placement to ensure high volume and profitable positioningSet up and manage product contracts with customersAttend Agency Training, when required and availableMeet established quotas and sales goalsEnsure that sales accounts are serviced in accordance with Company standards and policiesForecast long-range account sales (sales, volume, margin) and product needs, and communicate related information regularly to managementWork with procurement to calculate product costs and set pricing for productsProvide technical support to customers using the various tools and resources providedStudy market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and the effect of competitors' operations on salesDevelop and implement marketing strategiesPlan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenuesEvaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issuesAssume responsibility for establishing and maintaining good business relations with customers and external trade contacts.Ensure that customers are satisfied with Company products and servicesObtain customer feedback and continually work to improve products and servicesComplete and resolve customer requests, complaints, and inquiriesPromote products and services at trade shows and organize display materialAssume responsibility for maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with Company personnel and with management.Set sales goals in accordance with Company objectives.
