IntroductionBrunel is seeking a Piping Designer to support a dynamic execution-phase mining project in North America. The successful candidate will play a key role in detailed design and engineering phases, with responsibilities spanning piping layout, 3D modelling, and isometric generation. This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of mineral processing facilities and contribute to project delivery in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop piping models in a 3D environment, ensuring accuracy and interdisciplinary coordination (SmartPlant preferred).Prepare piping layout and detail drawings in alignment with project design specifications.Focus design efforts on key plant areas, including the tailings thickener and filtration systems.Generate and check piping isometrics and ensure integration with project standards.Support model reviews and action follow-up throughout the design lifecycle.Collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure project consistency and completeness.Requirements510 years of piping design experience in mineral processing plants within an EPC or EPCM environment.Proficient in slurry handling systems and rubber-lined piping design.Strong understanding of piping components, systems, and P&ID interpretation.Working knowledge of SmartPlant 3D is essential.Familiarity with ASME B16, B31, and related industry codes and standards.Demonstrated ability to resolve technical issues with minimal guidance.Strong communication and collaboration skills in both written and verbal forms.What We OfferWhy work with Brunel?
