Operating in two manufacturing facilities totaling 200,000 sq. ft. of insulated and heated workspace, the MODUS team works to design, construct and deliver building projects faster and more cost-effective than traditional site-build methods.Role DescriptionReporting to the VP Operations, the Project Manager ensures the integrity of prospective and awarded project activities is maintained through all phases of the projects, from bid to completion. This role interfaces with clients and external stakeholders as well as internal team members to manage project success.Location:This role is office based at our 135,000 square feet manufacturing facility 20 minutes North of Calgary in Crossfield, Alberta, strategically located near a High Load Corridor which allows us to transport loads up to 9 meters high to many parts of Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and the United States. Our employees live in Calgary, Airdrie and surrounding communities.ResponsibilitiesLeads and coordinates the companys prospective and awarded project activities. This responsibility includes proposals, contract negotiation, design, construction, customer contact, quality control, profitability, customer satisfaction and other functions associated with a project build.Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities to Project Coordinators and Project Assistants.Reviews high-level deliverables across projects.Manages scope and minimizes/mitigates exposure and risk across projects.Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for all projects under the PMO.Integrates financial data for multiple projects.Seeks ways to maximize revenue.Identifies partnership opportunities and capitalizes on quotes and sales opportunities across projectsSets and leads the team in the achieving revenue goalsWorks in conjunction with the sales team to follow up on and close sales leads.Grows long-term relationships with clients and capitalizes on equity and partnership opportunities.Is the key participant in team and client meetings.Manages day-to-day client interaction and expectations for Multiple projects.Makes client site visits as required.Anticipates clients needs and proposes alternative solutions.Qualifications & Experience5-10 years direct construction experience and project manager training (in lieu of formal training)College or University degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture or Diploma in Building TechnologyPMP from PMI or equivalentExperience with scheduling software for construction projects, and other software applications associated with Project ManagementHighly organized with ability to prioritize working on multiple projects.Demonstrated ability to lead multiple stakeholders and internal team membersModular Building experience an assetAbility to work with all levels of the organization with high levels of integrity, tact and maturityCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceComprehensive health and benefits planRRSP contribution matching programCOLLABORATIONWe communicate in a kind, inclusive, and empathetic manner to our customers and each other while working for a common purpose.ACCOUNTABILITYWe are honest, ethical, and transparent.
