Payroll Specialist (Full-Time, In-Person) Location: 758 Concession #3, Wilsonville, Ontario Salary: Experience Based Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (possible weekend work during summer months if needed) Start Date: Immediate --- Join Our Family-Owned Business! If youre looking for a stable, full-time role in a fast-paced and supportive environment, wed love to have you on our team! --- About the Role As a Payroll Specialist, you will manage all aspects of payroll, ensuring timely and accurate processing for our team. Were looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives working with numbers, databases, and payroll systems. This role requires strong computer skills to maintain accuracy in a dynamic and evolving workforce. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has a keen eye for data accuracy and compliance, and is skilled in hour tracking, employee record management, and reporting. This is a Monday to Friday, in-person role (40 hours per week), with possible weekend work available during the summer months if needed. We offer a steady and reliable work environment, where employees are respected, supported, and encouraged to grow within the company. --- What Youll Do: Process weekly payroll and verify hours for all employees. Maintain accurate payroll records, including deductions and benefits. Audit daily, weekly, and monthly payroll hours to resolve discrepancies. Ensure payroll complies with federal, provincial, and local laws. Track employee activities by work groups and job locations. Conduct weekly payroll audits to support health and safety regulations. Analyze payroll data and generate reports for management. --- What Were Looking ForMust-Have Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with computer-based time tracking systems. Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. A team player with strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Nice-to-Have Qualifications (Assets): Experience handling confidential payroll information. Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) Certification. Previous experience in a multi-divisional payroll environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Knowledge of Health and Safety, WSIB, and Health Insurance regulations.
