Bring your communication and organizational skills to PRA Group Canada as a Compliance & Risk Specialist! Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for completing testing engagements and reporting on issues identified during testing to ensure compliance controls are adequately mitigating risks. This role also manages the collector and company licensing and bond process for applicable provinces. Completing assigned reviews and risk assessments Documenting results of testing and monitoring and communicating them to management Managing collector and company licensing and the bond process to ensure the organization is compliant with provincial registration requirements Handling reviews of documents in accordance with established policies and procedures Providing support to other areas of the business to mitigate risk The Compliance & Risk Specialist is someone who has an eye for detail, can think critically and make recommendations, enjoys working with people across all levels and can communicate openly and persuasively. Most of all, were looking for someone willing to apply energy to using their talents to help our team. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; experience in the use of SharePoint would be an advantage Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred, or equivalent related experience English/French bilingualism is considered an asset Full training and ongoing upskill training provided Group health and dental program at minimal cost to employees This is a one-year contract position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, business hours, with flexibility in scheduling. Technical requirements for working from home: This position is designed for working from home. Technical requirements for working from home are hardwired internet with a minimum download speed of 25 mbps and a minimum upload speed of 5 mbps.
