Senior Director - Specialized Claims and Recovery ServicesUnder the direction and guidance of the Vice President, the Senior Director has corporate responsibility for the vision, direction, and leadership of the Division, which involves high risk or impacts the organization's financial position.Key Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesPromote the organization's vision and values, ensuring management and employees understand and support them, aligning division activities accordingly.Participate in developing a shared vision for the Division, supporting the principles of modern controllership, and assist in engaging the management team to deliver this vision through the annual business plan and divisional goals.Lead the management and delivery of programs and services, establishing policies, standards, and performance expectations, and supporting quality management and continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with the Vice President in planning financial, physical, and human resources, including budgets, and ensure effective resource management and health and safety systems.Build strong relationships with other leaders and employees to address business issues and promote teamwork aligned with corporate goals.Provide expert leadership and technical guidance to Vice Presidents and Directors on divisional initiatives and activities.Participate in senior management discussions on Board-wide initiatives, fostering trust and teamwork.Manage inter-divisional projects to support organizational strategies, ensuring successful outcomes.Maintain relationships with external partners, such as other workers' compensation boards, government agencies, and industry groups, as directed.Job RequirementsEducation: Undergraduate degree and significant experience in program development and delivery.Experience: Over 10 years of progressive leadership in large organizations dealing with insurance, disability management, or public sector services, with a preference for public sector experience and stakeholder engagement.Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and InclusionWe value diversity and strive to create an inclusive environment where employees can be themselves.
