Additionally, they will use their communication skills to build strong relations within the local community and local businesses.We operate across three stunning Cornish locations: Trewhiddle, Fistral Beach, and Fowey. Our self-catering villas at Trewhiddle, featured in BBC2s Interior Design Masters Grand Final, offer luxurious, private retreats just minutes from Cornwalls coastline. In Newquay, our stylish properties provide the perfect base for adventure-lovers, located near famous beaches and attractions. Meanwhile, Fowey offers a historic, cobbled town experience beside a stunning natural deep-water harbour, serving as a gateway to South Cornwall. Together Travel Co takes pride in offering our guests exceptional standards and a true home from home experience.The General Manager has commercial accountability for budgeting, fiscal management, planning, organising, and directing all operations and housekeeping. Most of our Cornish properties are under private ownership with long-term contracts in place, requiring regular liaison and collaboration with owners to ensure professional management and successful rental business.The role requires resilience and the ability to manage all aspects of the sites, including overseeing H&S compliance. It suits an individual who enjoys autonomy in decision-making while maintaining company brand standards and running a profitable business.Day to day responsibilitiesService and StandardsLead from the front and contribute to site success through good commerciality and a proactive approach.Work with the Resort Supervisor to ensure all accommodation is maintained to an excellent standard, housekeeping standards are exemplary, and guests receive a meet and greet in line with brand standards.Ensure all team members can provide detailed knowledge of the local area to pass onto Reservations/Concierge teams and guests/visitors.Implement PPM (Planned, Preventative Maintenance) techniques to preserve the quality and longevity of the product and guest experience.Maintain operational systems and services, including Health & Safety practices, gas, water, and supply management.Control and monitor payroll costs.Be accountable for site finances, including outstanding debts and responsible use of company credit cards.Ensure all Guests and Visitors receive excellent service at all key points of their visitor journey.BrandAct as a brand ambassador, promoting all locations and services.Create and conduct local marketing initiatives within budget to increase brand profile.Maintain clear communication with Head Office.Assist Senior Management in increasing efficiency and profitability.Fulfill reasonable requests from Senior Management.TeamDevelop effective relationships with key personnel.Interview and recruit core and seasonal team members, ensuring productive deployment.Ensure team understands high-end service expectations and drives world-class service.Lead, inspire, and develop your team, encouraging ongoing growth.Ensure team adherence to company guidelines.Conduct internal investigations and disciplinary actions when necessary, following established policies.About youAre you a strong operator with a minimum of 4 years experience as a General Manager in a premium establishment?
