This individual would provide a key role as part of the Bid Team, and would be responsible for the overall management and accountability of the RFP process. This position would work directly with process engineers, project engineers, subject matter experts, and other Stakeholders throughout Nexom to support the RFP process. Responsible for creating a persuasive, 100% compliant, and accurate proposal for submission while maintaining the deadline requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with a cross-functional inter-departmental team (i.e. Sales, Engineering, Contracts, Subject Matter Experts, etc.) to create professional, high-quality proposal submissions from initiation through to production and delivery of the final productParticipate in the proposal strategy meeting with the Leadership Team, Regional Sales Managers, Product Managers, technical teams, and other key contributorsParticipate in regular daily huddles to review workload, deadlines, etc.Review project opportunity documents to evaluate requirements, contractual terms and conditions, and evaluation criteria for bid submission complianceUnderstand contracts (i.e. CCDC, CCA, etc.) to effectively respond to RFP requests.Analyze proposal opportunity (RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, etc.) documentation and any prequalifying documents to identify requirements and develop a proposal plan and scheduleParticipate in the development of proposal strategies and strategic responses for proposals to ensure the value proposition and other desired technical content are incorporated into the proposalsCoordinate the flow of information to ensure internal and external proposal deadlines are met and appropriate reviews are completedCollaborate with internal teams to gather information and project specifics to ensure proposals contain high-quality written content, readable language, consistent factual statements, and respond to statements of requirementsCreate draft proposal framework documents aligned with the clients bid requirementsWrite key sections of some responses (cover letter, executive summary, manufacturers, etc.)Develop content for proposals, coordinate writing, review, and completion of the document with the Technical Lead, Subject Matter Experts, and other key contributorsCustomize non-technical content ensuring client focus, consistency with client needs/requirements, and alignment with the value propositionGrasp technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and/or graphicsGain knowledge and understanding of technical solutions from the suppliers and technologies utilized in proposalsReview, edit, and proofread proposal material, including technical and non-technical documents, to ensure clarity and accuracy.Ensure that proposals are 100% compliant, all read in One Voice, and consistently meet the internal quality control measures and highest quality standardsResponsible for completing and/or coordinating document formatting, editing, printing, proposal finalization, assembly, and distributionResponsible for submitting the final proposal to the customer and assisting in preparing any proposal follow-up communicationsDevelop a proposal department resource library of proposal tools, documents, and graphics.Create and maintain a database of Consideration given to administration related experience or demonstrated combination of education, skills, knowledge, and experiencePost-secondary education in an administration, marketing, business, or communications field will be considered an asset.
