Opportunity Overview Aecon Nuclear provides comprehensive EPC services for the nuclear power industry, including maintenance and decommissioning projects. Currently, we are involved in the Pickering RFBR project, refurbishing reactors and replacing steam generators. The Procurement Coordinator, reporting to the Procurement Team Lead, will manage material requisitions, shipping/receiving, and related functions. Key Responsibilities Coordinate purchases for materials and services. Prepare and review purchase requisitions, ensuring clarity, completeness, and compliance with quality standards. Input requisitions into SAP or similar systems. Include drawings, specifications, and quotes with requisitions. Prepare subcontracts and handle post-award administration. Maintain communication between Project, Engineering, Construction, and Procurement teams. Develop reports and update on delivery schedules and financials. Monitor and expedite material deliveries. Work from Whitby-Tricont Office. Qualifications Minimum 5 years experience in construction procurement or project coordination. Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Ability to travel between Whitby-Tricont, Pickering, and site locations. Experience in drafting and administering contracts; SAP knowledge is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
