And our corporate social responsibility programs provide meaningful and fulfilling work in the community.A career at Citco isnt just a job its an opportunity to excel in an environment that genuinely supports your personal and professional development.About the Role: The Finance Supervisor (Contract) reporting to Fianancial Controller will be responsible for financial accounting functions of Citco Bank Canada Job Duties in Brief: Preparation of financial accounting entries and uploading to T24 banking system and Oracle Fusion accounting systemWorking on intercompany relationships involving preparation of outbound invoices, approving inbound invoices, balance reconciliations, confirmation with counterparties and settlement in Fusion on monthly basisReview all postings to Oracle Fusion on a daily basisPreparation of month-end closing journal entries including accruals, prepaids and upload to Fusion within the month end close cut offRunning and scheduling daily revaluation process in FusionAnalyse revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basisUploading trial balance to OneSource to run tax provision at month endPreparing month end book closing pack for financial controllers reviewPreparing monthly local, divisional and management variance analysis and financial commentaries Preparing all reconciliations on timely basis including bank accounts, balances sheet accounts, P&L accounts, Revenue,Payroll, AuC, Investment portfolio, lending portfolio and accrued/deferred income etc.Preparing and uploading month end revenue accrual file to Fusion revenue subledgerReconciling cash clearing accounts, cost creditor accounts and intercompany elimination reportPreparing quarterly outsourcing reportUpdating month end smartsheetMaintaining adequate back ups for all transactions for future audit trails Processing monthly fund transfer request to ensure adequate funds in the account for meeting payroll, intercompany settlement and operating expense requirementsPreparing overtime report for Payroll Maintaining the bank accounts Running daily T24 EOD processAssist with annual audit and reviewing annual financial statementsAssisting in preparation of the quarterly HST return and annual NR4 returnPreparation of supporting documents for annual corporate tax returnAssisting in making timely payment of all taxes to CRA Ad Hoc projects and requests as needed by the Financial Controller and Regional Financial ControllerCommunicate with external and internal auditors, Tax auditors, other Finance functions, Group and Division Controllers team and ManagementAdditional duties as assignedAbout You: Must have a Bachelor degree in either Accounting, Finance or Business AdministrationCompletion of, or in progress an Accounting designation (CPA) an advantageMust have a minimum of5+ years of relevant accounting work experience in financial serviceExperience in Oracle Fusion an advantageMust have sound knowledge on MS Excel and WordMust be with good accounting acumen, attention to detail and self drivingMust have ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlinesWhat We Offer: A challenging and rewarding role in an award-winning global business.Opportunities for personal and professional career development.
