The attorney will handle all aspects of business law including: financings, acquisition/sale transactions, corporate law, business contract drafting, tax planning, and business advisory services.RESPONSIBILITIES:Counsel clients on a variety of business law matters, including corporate governance, acquisitions and sales, financing transactions, reorganizations, tax planning, human resources, regulatory compliance, and business agreement drafting and advisory services.Draft, review, and negotiate complex business agreementsAdvise clients on tax planning strategiesAssist clients in business-formation, structuring, and organizational matters, including entity selection, incorporation, and corporate restructuring.Support the growth and development of other practice areas with in the firm as it growsREQUIREMENTS:Juris Doctor (JD) or LLB degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the bar and in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.3+ years of post-JD/LLB experience in business/transactional/corporate lawProficiency in a second language is preferredThe ability to bring existing clients with you is a huge plus and highly encouraged
