ResponsibilitiesProvide equipment asset control and configuration management. support for the fielding team;Conduct supply transactions through Defense Supply Chain (DSC) in support of LCSS kitting and de-kitting activities;Packing of equipment for shipment back to the DSC, or for shipping to other DND sites as required;Coordinate shipping of equipment as required;Conduct receipt and issue activities of equipment as per vehicle Bill of Material (BOM)/checklists;Assist with vehicle inspections and SATs;Track and keep records of local acquisition of material to support fielding activities and provide them to the TA;Other ILS related tasks as required by the TA; andThe Intermediate ILS Specialist will complete all tasks in accordance with the Director Material Management and Distribution (DMMD) policies and procedures.QualificationsMust have a minimum of a secondary school graduate diploma/certificateMust have a valid Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certificateMust have a valid Standard First aid CertificateMust have a minimum of 24 months of demonstrated experience in Logistic Support related to equipment managementMust be bilingual (English and French)Additional RequirementsMust be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Secret LevelMust be able to obtain a valid Controlled Goods certificationMust be able to travel inside and outside Canada for extended period (3-4 weeks) at a timeTitre du poste : Spcialiste intermdiaire du soutien logistique intgr Lieu : Valcartier (QC) Tltravail : Non Unit d'affaires : Technologies avances Dpartement 1 : Ingnierie Dpartement 2 : Dfense Type demploi : Temps pleinAperu du posteCalian est la recherche dun spcialiste intermdiaire du soutien logistique intgr pour aider notre client faciliter la mise en uvre de son projet.Responsabilits Fournir un soutien au contrle des actifs dquipement et la gestion de la configuration pour lquipe de dploiement ; Effectuer des transactions dapprovisionnement par le biais de la chane dapprovisionnement de la Dfense (DSC) pour soutenir les activits dassemblage et de dsassemblage de kits LCSS ; Emballer lquipement pour son retour la DSC ou son expdition vers dautres sites du MDN, selon les besoins ; Coordonner lexpdition de lquipement selon les besoins ; Effectuer les activits de rception et dmission de lquipement conformment la nomenclature des vhicules (BOM) / listes de contrle ; Aider linspection des vhicules et aux essais dacceptation sur site (SAT) ; Suivre et conserver les dossiers des acquisitions locales de matriel pour soutenir les activits de dploiement, et les transmettre lautorit technique (TA) ; Effectuer d'autres tches lies au soutien logistique intgr, selon les besoins du TA ; Le spcialiste intermdiaire du SLI excutera toutes les tches conformment aux politiques et procdures de la Direction de la gestion et distribution du matriel (DMMD).Qualifications Doit possder au minimum un diplme/certificat dtudes secondaires ; Doit dtenir un certificat valide du Systme d'information sur les matires dangereuses utilises au travail (SIMDUT) ; Doit dtenir un certificat valide de secourisme gnral ; Doit possder un minimum de 24 mois dexprience dmontre en soutien logistique li la gestion dquipement ; Doit tre bilingue (anglais et franais).Exigences supplmentaires Doit tre en mesure dobtenir une cote de scurit de niveau Secret du gouvernement ; Doit tre en mesure dobtenir une certification valide des marchandises contrles ; Doit tre en mesure de voyager lintrieur et lextrieur du Canada pour de longues priodes (3 4 semaines la fois).#LI-JC1Become a part of the Calian team and join over 3,000 professionals working on projects that span Canada, the U.S., and international markets.
