About the Role As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative solutions for a variety of high-impact projects. Reporting to the Mechanical Department Manager, your responsibilities will include: Conductingengineering calculations, detailed designs, and producing drawings usingBluebeam (Revu)andAutoCAD. Performingon-site surveysand precise measurements for both new and retrofit mechanical construction projects. Completingcondition assessmentsand preparing comprehensive reports on existing building mechanical systems. Contributing to a wide range of projects, including: Rail and Bus Infrastructure Emergency Servicesfacilities (police, fire, ambulance) Schools and Universities Community Centers Office Buildings Laboratories VariousMunicipal, Provincial, and Federal facilities Key Responsibilities Design and review of HVAC systems (chillers, boilers, heat pumps, fans, RTUs, MAUs) as well as plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and specialty mechanical systems (e.g., refrigeration, fuel supply/storage). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, innovative engineering solutions. Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and client specifications. Provide technical expertise and field-based solutions to support project execution. Qualifications and Requirements ACertified Engineering degreeandProfessional Engineer (P.Eng.) designationare mandatory. At least5 years of experiencein engineering and design, particularly with building mechanical systems. Proficiency withAutoCADandBluebeam Revu. Strong technical skills and familiarity with industry-specific software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork. A validdrivers licenseand access to a vehicle for site visits. Ideal Candidate Profile Thrives in acollaborative and fast-paced environment.
