Smart, Savvy + Associates is pleased to partner with their client, a heavy equipment dealership based in the Fraser Valley, BC, in their search for a Marketing Generalist. The right person for the role has 3+ years'' experience in B2B marketing with a successful track record of managing and growing digital content, social media and email marketing engagement. As the Marketing Generalist, you will... Work closely with the marketing team to develop engaging content and innovative campaign ideas for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube). Manage and administer the social media content calendar by creating and scheduling posts while analyzing audience behavior to identify best practices and adjust accordingly. Manage and update website content (WordPress), optimizing functionality, design, and performance while ensuring security and SEO best practices. Prepare, coordinate, and distribute marketing materials to additional branches. Provide interdepartmental support in creating marketing documents, forms and e-mail campaigns. Assist with event management and promotion, including pre- and post-event communications, event set-up, execution and participation. Manage CRM database, ensuring accuracy, tracking and managing leads, customers and campaign lists. Create analytical marketing reports (web, email, CRM, social). You have... 3+ years experience in marketing (B2B marketing preferred). A certification, diploma or degree in marketing or a related field. Experience with digital content, social media, and email marketing platforms with a solid understanding of best practices and tactics for growth. Sound knowledge of and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, digital marketing tools like MailChimp, WordPress, and other similar programs. Excellent creative writing skills with a focus on crafting SEO-optimized content. Proficient in managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Comprehensive design, graphic and print layout knowledge. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A self-motivated, tenacious personality, capable of working independently to achieve goals. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple projects at any time. A willingness to dig in and continuously learn new things.
