Part-Time / Independent-Contractor Registered Massage Therapist About Perennial Perennial embeds physician- and nurse-practitioner-led primary-care clinics directly inside retirement residences, bringing concierge medical and allied-health services to older adults where they live. About The Role As a Perennial Registered Massage Therapist youll bring hands-on, evidence-based care directly into our partner retirement residences. Youll start by running one or two on-site clinic days per month in Hamilton and Oakville (4- to 8-hour blocks) and expand your schedule as the program becomes busier. There is also an opportunity to pick-up additional shifts at other locations if desired. What Youll Do Conduct initial assessments; create individualized treatment plans for pain relief, mobility, and relaxation. Deliver Swedish, deep-tissue, myofascial, and other clinically appropriate techniques. Educate residents on stretching, posture, and self-management strategies. Chart detailed SOAP notes and outcome measures in our EMR. Submit electronic claims to insurers and collect any resident co-pays. Communicate progress and red flags to Perennial physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied-health colleagues. Maintain a portable table, linens, and supplies while following IPAC and CMTO guidelines. Qualifications Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Minimum two years experiencegeriatric, orthopedic, or rehabilitation settings preferred. Strong manual-therapy skills and compassionate bedside manner. Valid Ontario drivers licence and reliable transportation for travel between sites. Asset: training in seniors massage, lymphatic drainage, or scar-tissue management. Why Join Perennial?
