ABOUT THE ROLEJoin our team to lead and coordinate all aspects of facilities and safety across College properties from day-to-day operations and maintenance to long-term capital planning and project delivery. Youll work closely with senior leadership, government partners and contractors to ensure our campuses are safe, efficient and well-maintained.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement facility policies, budgets and annual operating plansLead capital projects: proposals, funding applications, tendering, construction oversightOversee maintenance schedules, safety protocols (OH&S, emergency planning, security) and minor repair programsManage janitorial/custodial contracts and leased-facility agreementsPrepare regular reports for College leadership, Board and government ministriesRepresent the College on facilities, health & safety and security committeesQUALIFICATIONSDiploma or journeyperson ticket in a related field + 5 years experience in institutional facilities/project managementWHMIS, OHS Levels 1 & 2 certification; valid drivers licenceStrong budgeting, contract negotiation and team-leadership skillsExcellent communication and collaborative problem-solving abilitiesBOMI RPA/FMA or IFMA certifications an assetThe position is a 1 year term, full-time opportunity with the College.
