Through our broad portfolio, we are truly a national brewer, with over 3,600 employees, a portfolio of more than 60 quality beers and beyond, and 10 breweries from coast-to-coast, we are proud to serve Canada and the communities we call home.ROLE SUMMARY:Join the Anheuser-Busch/Labatt NAZ Tech Data Science and Machine Learning Team as a Senior Data Scientist. You will be a core member, collaborating closely with our Data Science and ML team to build state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and models. This role is designed for individuals who push boundaries, think innovatively, and excel at driving transformative impact across projects and teams. This is a full-system role, meaning that skills related to being able to translate business needs to specific technical implementations and further explain the technical solutions and corresponding results to the business are critical.JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:Develop and optimize machine learning algorithms and models using Python, with a focus on testing, performance and scalability.Design, implement and optimize cutting-edge ML solutions that enhance our recommendation systems, business efficiency and decision-making.Leverage data science frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Spark ML to build robust and scalable machine learning solutions.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, business and product teams) to clearly translate business needs into ML-driven solutions.Apply DevOps and MLOps best practices for model serving, data and code version control and continuous integration/deployment.Ensure model interpretability, reliability and performance while continuously improving model and business metrics and reducing biases.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.At least 3-6 years of experience in data science roles.Strong coding skills in Python programming.Hands-on experience working with Databricks environment for data processing and analysis.Strong hands-on experience working on data science frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Spark ML.Experience with recommendation systems / propensity modeling.Exceptional ability to work with various business and product teams, engineering teams and additional stakeholders, ensuring alignment and seamless integration of business needs and results.Experience with DevOps practices and using GitHub workflows for version control and CI/CD.SKILLS: TensorFlow, PySpark, SQL, Recommendation Systems, Github Action CI/CDWHY LABATT:As one of Canadas Top 100 Employers, Labatt is a place where our people can bring out the best in themselves through a collective purpose of creating A Future With More Cheers.
