Were lean, profitable, and hiring people who want to build the machine, not just operate it.Youll be working alongside an in-house ad buyer, ad creative team, and more - so you arent alone.Role Responsibilities1. Paid Media & Promotion ExecutionWork closely with our media buyer to manage spend, scale winning creatives, and hit ROAS targets.Plan and execute major revenue pushes (Black Friday, product drops, evergreen offers).Own the marketing calendar and align cross-functionally with product, fulfillment, and creative.2. CRO & Site PerformanceAudit, optimize, and A/B test all landing pages, upsells, and checkout flows.Increase conversion rate across key flows (MRR upgrades, add-ons, etc).Build and execute a site testing roadmap with weekly iteration cycles.3. Creative DirectionOwn ad creative performance. Analyze whats working, brief the creative team, and iterate fast.Give sharp feedback on static and video assets, and test new angles weekly.Build scalable creative testing systems across platforms.4. Email & SMSPlan, write, and test weekly email campaigns and flows (abandoned cart, trial conversions, upsells).Build lead capture strategies to grow lists.Run SMS when needed fast and direct for key drops.Optimize deliverability, sequencing, and flow conversions to increase MRR.5. MRR Growth & Subscriber OptimizationOwn monthly recurring revenue (MRR) growth as a core KPI.Improve conversion and retention across all recurring plans and upsell flows.Build and optimize subscriber funnels (e.g., trials, onboarding, email flows, upgrade prompts).Analyze churn patterns and test strategies to increase subscriber LTV.Collaborate with product and fulfillment teams to increase perceived value and reduce cancellations.6. Team Leadership & CollaborationWork closely with dev, fulfillment, and support to ensure cohesive execution.Train up junior marketers, media buyers, and creative talent when needed.Hire contractors as needed for surges in production or campaign needs.You Are a Fit If You:Get annoyed when a landing page has a 1-second delay or confusing CTA.Extremely high agency - you optimize on ruthlessly taking action. Can reverse-engineer a winning offer or funnel just by looking at the creative and flow.Are a savage about performance if it doesnt work, you kill it. If it scales, you double down.Have experience growing subscription revenue for online companies.Think like an operator, not an idea person.Must-Haves:35+ years in performance marketing, growth, or ecommerce.Case studies of action taken that translated into ecommerce revenue growth - be it a sale campaign, email automation flows, etc.Strong grasp of landing page optimization, A/B testing, and creative iteration.Deep familiarity with email platforms (e.g. MailerLite, Klaviyo, Postscript).Bonus: Experience in music, creator economy, or running a high-ticket funnel.Perks:Flexible remote/hybrid schedule Toronto HQ, but results > presence.Real ownership: your decisions drive company revenue.Fast growth, low red tape build fast and get stuff done.Work in music + tech with real cultural impact.
