Quantum Business Law located in Markham have an immediate opening for an experienced Law Clerk. The successful applicant will act as the primary resource for lawyers and clients to assist with the handling of legal and administrative matters.Salary will be commensurate with Corporate Law experience.Responsibilities:Prepare corporate reorganization documents including: incorporation, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, dissolution's and drafting of share capital in respect thereofProcess corporate documents utilizing Cyberbahn for Ontario filings and Corporations Canada for all Federal filingsAssist with other general corporate matters, including all types of dividends (taxable, eligible and capital), annual resolutions and redemption'sAssist with Business Number and Program Accounts registrations with Canada Revenue Agency and provincial tax registrationsUpdate Minute Books and corporate databaseQualifications or Skills Required:5+ years of Tax/corporate law clerk experienceMember in good standing with the Institute of Law Clerks of OntarioExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOrganized and meticulous with follow-up and detailAbility to work independently and take initiative, prioritize and multitaskCapable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines with minimal supervisionFlexible, team player who is client service orientedStrong technical skills using MS Office
