Your responsibilities go beyond project management (on-time and on-budget); as you'll also play a crucial role in deepening your understanding of our clients' business, fostering key client relationships, and actively identifying growth opportunities. In addition, you'll establish yourself as the go-to person for Account Leads, Production, and Creative Directors, contributing to the agency's success and the continued growth of our clients' brand. You have a passion for creativity, demonstrate solid business judgment, exceptional project management and problem-solving skills, inspired strategic thinking, and have a proven track record leading all types of deliverables in a fast-paced agency environment. Responsibilities: Client Relationship ManagementServe as the main contact for client requests, building and maintaining strong relationships with them. Become an expert in your clients category and business challenges.Strategic LeadershipProvide strategic direction on your account by ensuring all the work aligns with the clients business objectives and briefWriting and delivering creative briefs with the strategist, where and when appropriate. Project OversightLead cross functional teams (creative, media, strategy and production) to deliver projects on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.Managing the development of all client communications and presentations.Flawless production and project management oversight, being the process expert on the team always upholding the quality of the work.Foreseeing issues and problem solving appropriately. Team leadership:Mentor, guide and continuously train junior team members, ensuring accuracy with appropriate checks and balances.Providing on-going guidance to junior members across all departments and providing appropriate feedback to support their professional development.Know when to manage and when to escalate issues. Budget and Financial ManagementOversee budgets for client projects providing regular updates on financial and project milestones.Collaborating with the finance team, helping to develop financial acumen in the interest of both the agency and the client, tracking and monitoring hours and budgets to make sure projects stay on track. Skills and experience: You have 5-7 years of advertising experience in account management, with a proven track record of leading high-profile client accounts.Retail account experience is considered an asset.Expert at storytelling and building impactful and influential strategy and creative concept presentations.You have strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and developing junior staff.You have led a range of productions from small digital content to 360 campaigns.Strong planning and organizational skills: time-management, working to critical paths, budgeting, delegating, facilitating meetings, multi-tasking, attention to detail, follow up, etc.You love and excel at building relationships and getting to know clients.You collaborate and guide the strategic goals of the agency and clients business.You define business challenges and strive to be a category expert.You have a strong rapport with internal teams, fostering on going trust and collaborationYou have proven experience in building strong client relationships and driving account growth.You can direct and redirect when issues arise, maintaining a calm demeanour in the face of a challenge and know when to bring in senior leaders.You are an engaging presenter.You have strong organizational, written and oral communication skills and are professional, smart and well spoken.You are flexible with the ability to shift focus or direction on a dime and juggle multiple projects at a time.How This Translates into Perception:Strategic and Knowledgeable: Seen as a trusted advisor to clients, providing valuable insights and strategic direction.Leadership and Decisiveness: Perceived as a strong leader who can guide teams, make informed decisions, and drive projects forward.Relationship-Oriented and Influential: Known for building strong client relationships and influencing key stakeholders.Results-Driven and Accountable: Viewed as someone who is focused on achieving client objectives and delivering exceptional results.Problem-Solver and Resourceful: Seen as someone who can anticipate challenges, find creative solutions, and keep projects on track.
