We're friendly and like a good laugh.The Material Handling Sales Specialist drives sales of ergonomic and industrial handling solutions that enhance customer efficiency, safety, and compliance. This role supports field sales by recommending equipment such as carts, racking, storage systems, and lifting devices tailored to Canadian standards. Through technical expertise and market insight, the specialist helps solve handling challenges and positions TENAQUIP as a trusted solutions partner. ResponsibilitiesConduct site assessments and ergonomic evaluations to identify customer needsRecommend and sell material handling solutions tailored to customer workflows and compliance standardsProvide CAD drawings, product specifications, and custom proposals for storage and ergonomic equipmentCollaborate with sales teams and vendors to support technical bids and project planningStay informed on provincial safety and ergonomic regulations related to material handlingLead product demonstrations and training sessions for end-users and operations teamsAssist with project management, including installations, retrofits, and after-sales supportMaintain accurate records of opportunities and customer interactions in CRM systemsRepresent TENAQUIP at trade shows, events, and customer meetings as a technical expertShare insights on industry trends and innovations to support sales and marketing strategiesQualificationsCollege certificate required; bachelor's degree preferred35 years of sales experience, ideally in a technical or industrial environmentStrong technical and mechanical aptitudeExcellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skillsAbility to coordinate projects and work effectively in a team environmentComfortable using PowerPoint and delivering presentations or training sessionsStrong problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approachWe are an equal opportunity employer.
