Position: Project Manager Payment System ImplementationLocation: Ottawa, ON Hybrid (1 day/week on-site, remainder remote)Job Type: 6-month contract, with strong potential for extensionAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new patient payment solution for our client located in Ottawa. This contract position will serve as the key driver of the project, working closely with stakeholders in finance, IT, and operations, along with third-party vendors. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership through influence, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of financial processes.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of a patient payment solution- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including risk management, change management, and communications strategies- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including finance teams, IT, third-party vendors, other platform partners- Map and analyze existing AR and financial reconciliation processes; recommend and implement improvements- Ensure alignment across multiple sites and maintain transparent communications across all stakeholder groups- Document new processes and procedures; train accounting teams on system usage and workflow changes- Prepare customer communication materials and ensure a seamless end-user experience- Track milestones, monitor progress, and report on project status to leadership and sponsors- Anticipate issues, troubleshoot challenges, and offer practical, forward-thinking solutionsQualifications:- 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally with financial systems implementation- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholder groups- Strong understanding of financial processes, including AR, bank reconciliation, and GL reconciliation- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence without authority- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a flexible, proactive approach- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments- PMP certification or equivalent experience in Agile, Lean, or change management methodologies considered an assetPlease send your resume in Word format to Tanveer Sodhi at AND EARN A $50 GIFT CARD!
