Job Title: Millwright Position Type: Permanent, Full-time Pay Range: Starting at $43.78 per hour Shifts: Rotating shifts; Days/Afternoons/Nights Work Location: Welland, ON Summary The successful Millwright is an integral part of the Maintenance team, and important part of the companys operational success. The Millwright assembles, installs, builds, maintains, and repairs equipment and structures. Job Functions Ensure all work performed adheres to all relevant organizational, provincial and federal safety regulations, codes and specifications. Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment. Answer break down calls, troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment. Fabricate as required. Relocate lines/machinery as required. Identify and correct any problems found in machines, equipment, or processes in order to facilitate production. Lead, guide and teach apprentices and direct them to ensure successful task completion. Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures. Identify and report safety hazards. Complete all paperwork as required. Qualifications 443A Licensed Mechanic Experience in moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of machinery and equipment. Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment Able to fabricate new parts to replace defective parts during machine setup, maintenance, or overhaul. Thorough knowledge of load bearing capabilities of the equipment to be installed, assembled, or dismembered. Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications. Good written and verbal communication skills. Accurate and highly analytical. Strong work ethic and positive team attitude. Great attendance record. Why Kelly?
