E1C 9A9 May 22, 2025 To whom it may concern:The Board of Directors for Family and Early Childhood Anglophone East Inc. is looking for a new Executive Director to replace the current Director who is retiring from the organization. The Board is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to lead the organization in delivering high-quality programs that support at-risk children ages 0 to 8 and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood development, nonprofit management and community engagement. This role requires a visionary leader who can inspire staff, collaborate with community partners, and advocate for the needs of children and families.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:o Program Developmento Oversee the design, implementation and evaluation of programs and serviceso Ensure the programs are aligned with provincial guidelines and best practices for early childhood developmento Leadership and Staff Developmento Lead, mentor and support a team of professionalso Foster a positive organizational cultureo Encourage collaboration, innovation and professional growtho Communityo Engagement, build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders and familieso Represent the organization at community events and advocate for the needs of at-risk children and their familieso Resource Developmento Identify grant opportunitieso Financial Oversighto Manage program budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and compliance with funding requirementso Monitor program outcomes and prepare reports for the Board of Directorso Ensure risk management policies and procedures are currento Work with a Board of Directors as employero Advocacy and Policy Developmento Stay informed about local, provincial and national policies affecting children and familieso Advocate for policies that support the well-being of at-risk populations QULAFICATIONS:o Masters Degree or Undergraduate Degree in early childhood education, social work, public administration, or a related fieldo Minimum of 5 years experience in nonprofit management, program development, or related field with an early childhood services backgroundo Strong understanding of the challenges faced by at-risk children and their families and best practices in early childhood developmento Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of professionalso Excellent communication skillsWHAT WE OFFER:A supportive work environment in a proven and successful organization.
