Due to an upcoming vacancy, we are hiring a Permanent Full-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance Team. Pay: $26.59-$27.54/hourUnion: CUPE Shifts: Days Reporting to the Manager, Finance, you will maintain financial records and process all accounts payable, Some responsibilities include:Maintain and update vendor files.Prepare each accounts payable invoice for payment by ensuring proper accounts payable work is complete for computer entry.Perform all cheque runs (automated and manual), and electronic payment submissions.Print accounts payable reports and balances to manual total.Ensure accounts payable invoices are approved and make payments.Follow-up on all outstanding invoices.Answer all accounts payable inquiries.Reconcile monthly vendor statements.Enter and post all departmental financial entries monthly.Maintain the integrity of data between different softwares.Typing of miscellaneous forms and correspondence as required.Maintain capital expenditure spreadsheet and reconciles to general ledger as needed Maintain quarterly report for compliance with BPSAA requirements.Perform monthly HST filings.Perform other related and allied clerical duties as required.Qualifications:Experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic requirements.
