Responsibilities:Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, tanks and production machines.Observe equipment concerns and initiate corrective action/repair.Install, commission and maintain test rig hydraulic systems and/or components.Communicate with Supervisors, Operators, and incoming/outgoing mechanics to determine daily priorities.Complete shift inspections, examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions, and complete work orders and parts requisitions.Enhance equipment performance, recommend and implement improvements. Participate in Test Rig and Test Hydraulic design reviews. Understand and carry out preventive maintenance procedures.Requirements:Graduation from a technical college with Maintenance technician certification or equivalent.433A industrial millwright.3-5 years of experience in manufacturing Industry.Ability to operate a variety of hand and machine tools (drills, mag drills, grinders, reciprocating saws, chop saws, band saws, lathes, and mills).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and hydraulic schematicsExperience with fabrication and welding.
