Daniels is looking to recruit a full-time Project Schedule Manager.Reporting to the Senior VP of Construction Operations, the Project Schedule Manager is responsible for managing activities associated with planning and oversight of all project scheduling.The position will work closely with the construction and procurement teams to ensure that the schedule is communicated effectively and that it accurately reflects the work to be undertaken on the project.Responsibilities:Work closely with the Senior VP of Construction Operations to create, monitor and execute the construction planCreate schedule with General Supers and Senior VP of Construction Operations for future projects from high level designs and schematicsProvide and maintain look-ahead schedules for multiple areas and phases of workDevelop and maintain short and long term (multi-year) project schedules Assist in the monitoring, reviewing and analysis of the schedule and progress report during all phases of the project, including the analysis of any schedule deviations and identifying corrective actionsCommunicate any important issues to the Senior VP of Construction OperationsReview and incorporate Trade Contractor schedules Perform trend analysis, forecasting and time impact analysisWork with project managers and site superintendents to evaluate construction progress and provide regular schedule updates including monthly progress schedule and dashboard reports which are to be incorporated into the monthly project reportsIdentify warnings, problems, or conflicts in the project schedule to mitigate the impact of risk to the critical path, help create and input into mitigation plans to overcome schedule delays Create and maintain a Pre-Construction schedule with estimating and evaluating the progress of procurement based on schedule site requirements. Provide trade schedules to be incorporated into contract documents Support for project managers and superintendents with navigating and using Schedule Reader Develop micro schedule for critical areas related to completion and turnover including but not limited to Lobby area and amenities spacesRequirements:Post-secondary education in the Construction, Engineering or Architectural fieldMinimum of 10 years of construction experience Site super experience would be an assetStrong residential scheduling/sequencing knowledgeStrong Oracle Primavera P6 software use/knowledgeAbility to read and understand construction drawings and specificationsStrong ability to establish priorities and meet conflicting deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team is essentialUp to date safety training including: Working at Heights, WHMIS & First AidExcellent technical and mathematical abilitiesStrong computer skillsAbility to travel within the GTA as requiredIf you are interested in this position, please send your resume to Denise Plamenco, Manager, People and Culture, at dplamenco@danielscorp.com by June 13th, 2025.As an employer committed to employment equity and accessibility for persons with disabilities, we encourage applications from members of equity-deserving communities including women, BIPOC/racialized and Indigenous persons, persons with disabilities, and persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities/expressions.
