Job Overview:The Creative Manager plays a key role in delivering best-in-class creative work to Vireos clients, helping drive growth across the creative pillar of our business. In collaboration with Account Managers, the Creative Manager supports onboarding for creative clients, leads the execution of creative deliverables, and ensures quality across all creative output. These creative deliverables include YouTube videos, video ads, thumbnails, scripts, and video edits, both short and longform.The Creative Manager also manages the creative team by reviewing work, removing roadblocks, and helping team members thrive in their roles. In addition, the role includes sourcing and overseeing external creative talent or vendors as needed to meet project and team demands.While client work is the primary focus of this role, the Creative Manager also supports internal marketing efforts by producing select creative assets, such as video ads and graphics. Roles & Responsibilities:Client Management: Manage creative client projects by providing direction, coordinating resources, and overseeing execution to ensure timelines are met and content is high-quality and aligned with client expectations.Serve as a key resource for Account Managers when they encounter creative roadblocks or need creative direction on projects.Lead content audits as part of Vireos signature Blueprint offering to assess performance, uncover creative opportunities, and shape strategic recommendations for clients.Maintain and oversee the creative Trello board to ensure quality control across all creative output, upholding consistently high standards of work.Develop and maintain SOPs to support and refine creative processes, particularly around initial audits, concept development, and production workflows, ensuring clarity, consistency, and scalability across the team.Host weekly 1-on-1s with creative team members to review work, remove roadblocks, solve creative challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement.Monitor and manage creative project budgets to ensure work stays within scope and resources are allocated efficiently, balancing creative ambition with financial responsibility.Support the growth of the creative team by contributing to sourcing and hiring efforts, refining onboarding processes, and improving systems for working with external contractors and freelancers.Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell creative services to existing clients, and support account managers in retaining creative clients through consistent quality, strategic input, and strong collaboration.Explore and integrate AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance creative output where possible.Identify opportunities for creative case studies and curate the necessary information and assets to showcase how our work has driven client success.Internal Marketing & Sales:Assist in the development of creative IP, including helping with ad concepts, creative briefs, video scripts, graphics, video edits and more.Support our content marketing efforts by developing creative thought leadership for email, social, and other channels, including content that teaches, inspires, and demonstrates our creative expertise.Support the sales team with creative proposals by gathering relevant project examples, developing concepts, producing sample work, and advising on timelines and resource needs.Provide feedback and a fresh creative perspective to the internal marketing team across a range of opportunities and challenges, helping elevate the quality and impact of our content.Qualifications & Skills:3+ years in a creative leadership role within an agency or content-driven organization and at least 5 years total in creative rolesProven ability to lead creative teams and manage high-value client projects.Strong creative direction skills with a strategic mindset and attention to visual storytelling.Experience mentoring creative talent and fostering team growth in a collaborative environment.Demonstrated ability to manage creative timelines, budgets, and resourcing across multiple projects.Skilled in problem-solving, with a blend of creative thinking and operational efficiency.Excellent time management and organizational abilities.Comfortable working under pressure and adjusting quickly to shifting priorities.A self-starter mindset with a drive to improve processes, elevate creative output, and contribute to business growth.Compensation & Benfits: Salary: $68,000 $85,000 CADBenefits: Health & dental coverage after 3 months (Canada Only)The Ideal Candidate is based in Vancouver but open to CanadaPaid Time Off: 2 weeks vacation, 2 additional paid holidays during the winter break (+Stats)Perks: Hybrid work, in-office snacks, games, and a dog-friendly space
