Title - Business Analyst - ITLocation - Toronto ON (Hybrid)About the Role:We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Risk Technology team, supporting operational and financial risk management through data analytics and reporting solutions. This role combines strong technical expertise with business analysis and stakeholder engagement.Responsibilities:Collaborate with end users to understand data and reporting requirements.Design and build analytics and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft technologies (Azure, SQL Server, Power BI, Power Apps).Document business requirements and prepare clear, structured BRDs.Develop and maintain OLAP and OLTP-based systems to support complex reporting needs.Work closely with architects, data teams, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless solution delivery.Provide guidance to offshore junior resources and support project execution.Ensure adherence to best practices in solution development and delivery.Must-Have Qualifications:4+ years of experience in a data or business analyst role.Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.Strong background in building data analytics systems using OLAP and OLTP models.Proven experience in requirement gathering and business documentation (BRD).Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Nice-to-Have:Exposure to financial services, banking, insurance, or risk management.Experience working in financial risk or retention management domains.Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.Masters degree is an asset.What Makes You a Great Fit:You are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.You bring strong analytical thinking and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.You thrive in a collaborative environment and have a can-do attitude
