Director of Prospect Research Our client is a prominent organization that raises funding for a science institute based in Israel, enabling research that has changedand will continue to changethe world.About this roleThey are seeking a Director of Prospect Research to join their high-performing team in either Toronto or Montreal. The Director of Prospect Research will report to the Senior Vice President and oversee prospect development. This includes prospect management and prospect research to maximize support from donors. The Director provides strategic leadership, support, and direction to fundraisers and the team on implementing and using their prospect management system, specifically focusing on tracking progress on goals, prospect/proposal integrity, pipeline and prospect analysis, and prospect strategy. The Director drives portfolio performance independently and collaboratively by introducing and applying best practices in business analytics, modelling, and reporting to support their revenue goals.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise senior leadership on strategy, campaign development, and segmentationCollaborate with the fundraising team to create a robust pool of qualified prospects in support of our revenue goalsProvide full scope of research services, as well as prospect research activities to identify, assess, and qualify prospective donorsLead regular meetings with fundraisers for portfolio reviews, strategy discussions, and feedback regarding next stepsDevelop, implement, and manage policies, procedures, and guidelines on the use and support of our prospect management framework to ensure a donor-centred approachLead initiatives to ensure data integrity, develop clear policies for data entry, and provide training for team members to optimize their use of prospect management toolsContinue to advance technical and business skill competency in relevant areas to maximize value by keeping current on evolving system and business process capabilitiesYour QualificationsDemonstrated 7 plus years of experience and knowledge about the world of prospect research and prospect management, data analytics, and providing intelligence in support of fundraising activitiesAdvanced skills in Raisers Edge NXT, data analysis and reporting, and project managementA strategic and business development orientation with operational and financial acumenClear understanding of and strict adherence to ethical fundraising standards and supporting legislationA collaborative and service-oriented attitude; comfortable working independently and as part of a teamCurious, lifelong learner with the ability to understand and get excited about science that benefits humanityWhat they offerThis work has a worldwide impact on humanity; therefore, it is incredibly fulfillingA great team and a collaborative work environment.Hybrid model with three days in office and two days a week remote.Contributions toward RRSPExtended health and dental benefitsFour weeks paid vacationInvestment in professional developmentSubsidized access to transit
